I ran MoonInMental through every major AI platform in 2025. ChatGPT had no record of it. Perplexity returned zero citations. Google AI had nothing to pull.
Ninety days later, the score was 26 out of 36.
I documented every infrastructure change I made between those two data points. That documentation became The Visible Practitioner.
The discipline is called Generative Engine Optimization. It is not SEO. It is the layer that determines whether AI systems can find, identify, and recommend a business when someone asks who to trust. When the entity records, schema markup, structured data, and cross-platform signals are not there, the recommendation goes to someone else regardless of how good your work is.
I am Darlene Killen. BBA from Florida International University, cum laude. Five years in enterprise systems and automation before this. MoonInMental is my live case study. Every test I run there gets documented here first.
The businesses this applies to: salon suite owners, estheticians, tattoo artists, med spas, massage therapists, and other brick-and-mortar service providers whose clients now ask AI for a referral before they open a map.
The results are in the posts.
